Oh my goodness. I think this will go down as one of my most favorite sessions I've ever shot. It is such a joy to get to photograph the same families over time, and I loved the chance to get to catch up with Jill and her crew. I had never been to this location before, and to be honest, I didn't know there were preserves in Little Rock to enjoy. But this field was so beautiful and dreamy at sunset, and the awesome view of Pinnacle Mountain in the background was just an added bonus for us!
The last time I photographed the Franklins, they had just welcomed baby Ruby into the family, and let me tell ya, Ezra and Eli have grown into their roles of big brothers to a little sister so well. They LOVE her, and they were even giving me posing ideas to make Ruby shine! They are such cool kids, and they loved being in the open field. As soon as we wrapped their shoot, they took off running into the great yonder with Derek for their next adventure! Ruby is now about to celebrate her first birthday! I loved the outfits Jill chose for her, and there's just no way you can see her grin and not smile!
Every family is unique, and I love the privilege of seeing all different kinds of families and how they love each other and raise their children. Jill and Derek are such fun and kind parents, and their family has a sweet peace because of it! Thank you for trusting me with your family photos!
