Ward Family - Two Rivers Bridge (Little Rock)

It's funny — this session came less than 40 hours after the previous one I shot, but there was about a 35 degree difference between the two (as well as several layers of clothing difference!). However, although the weather was frigid, the sunlight was just beautiful for the Wards' Saturday morning session. And they never once complained about it being so cold.

One of my favorite gifts that photography has given me is meeting so many new people, and this family is absolutely wonderful! The first thing I said to them was "oh my goodness I can tell y'all have fun together!" They were consistently laughing with one another, always in good spirits, and they were so encouraging toward me too!

I love, love, love getting multiple generations of families together. I know it can be complicated and difficult. Coordinating schedules can seem impossible, not to mention coordinating outfits on top of it! But it's ALWAYS worth it. It's so easy — as families grow and develop their own "branches" of the family tree — to neglect the people you grew up with, but it makes it even sweeter when you put forth the effort to honor those relationships that have made you, YOU!

Thank you, Ward family, for spending your Saturday morning with me and letting me see that joy that is your family!
