It was such a pleasure to be able to photograph the Johnson family this past weekend. They are warm and kind, and their house is full of character and charm. Their new little one, Willow, is such a content and sweet baby girl. She was happiest when cuddling with her mommy, and I loved being able to capture those sweet moments of them together.
Kyle and Lana are so personable, and it was a joy to talk with them during our session. Usually babies sleep quite a bit during newborn sessions, but Willow had other plans. Even though she wasn't sleepy, but was hardly ever fussy — she just liked being able to see what was going on.
I loved all the details Lana had planned for Willow's pictures and for their home — such rich colors and textures! My favorite time for our session was when we went out on their front porch. The porch is just amazing to begin with. It's the perfect place to relax with friends and family, and Willow was a big fan of hanging out with mommy and daddy there, too.
Congratulations Lana and Kyle on sweet Willow. She's adorable, and you are such a wonderful family of three!
